Dillon City Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanors, Dillon Municipal Code violations, and some civil matters alleged to have occurred
within the Dillon city limits. This court processes hundreds of citations and serves nearly 400 defendants each year.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The Court is open every day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The judge conducts hearings in person and via internet meeting.
OPEN COURT HOURS ARE Monday-Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
Payments not made according to court-ordered payment schedules, may result in drivers license suspension and
contempt of court charges. An arrest warrant may be issued and/or suspended sentence revoked.
JURY DUTY
Jury Summons
If you have received a summons to appear for jury duty on a specific day, please call 406-683-6690.
Leave a message indicating:
your name,
date of the trial,
state you have received your summons.
Participation
If you are unable to participate in jury duty, please complete and mail or fax the juror excusal request
form
Juror Excusal Request with supporting documentation (i.e., doctor note, airline
reservations, etc.) Requests for excusal will not be considered unless submitted on the proper form,
available from the Clerk of Court.

You will be notified by phone if your excusal request is granted. If you don’t hear from the court
regarding your excusal, you must appear for jury duty.
To verify whether a trial is still going to occur, you may call the court at (406) 683-6690 the day prior to the trial date.
