Heart of the Beaverhead

City offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 in observance of Juneteenth.

Pavement Preservation Project June 23-25

Asphalt Sealing Project to occur June 23rd-25th. During this time, there will temporary closures of the streets and no on-street parking along the streets that are being sealed, and will open as the treatment cures. Notices will be posted to affected residents but in the meantime, here are some things to note:

  1. We will prepare the streets for this project on Tuesday, June 17th starting at 8:00 am. This includes brushing and sweeping the streets and cutting any tree limbs and bushes that are shorter than 14' and blocking street access. Please have all vehicle, trailers, and equipment cleared from the street, or it will be towed.

  2. Walking or driving on the treatment too soon will damage the seal and cause tracking onto driveways, carpet and vehicles.

  3. Curbside Parking will be prohibited during this time, and any vehicles left on the roadway will be towed. If you have any scheduled lawn maintenance, deliveries or contractor work on these dates, please advise the vendor that they will not have access during the closure times.

  4. Please eliminate any sprinkler system overspray or nuisance water prior to and 24 hours following street closure. Water will damage uncured treatment and delay the project.

  5. If Dillon Disposal picks up your garbage cans from the street, please be sure to have them removed by 8am.
